You, as the dogs owner are also responsible. As a responsible pet owner who knew that where you were staying did not allow animals, you should have had the smarts to give up your animals or place them in someone else's care. The fact that you allowed your dog to be 'killed' at the hands of your father-in-law makes me absolutely livid. Even if it is probably you trying to get some form of attention. The fact that it's even said is making me so angry right now I can't even think. If your bird is in danger, you as someone who lacks common sense must be told by someone who does; Get rid of the fucking bird and give it so an animal shelter.
